Creando, jugando y soñando
Mi nombre es Alejandra, naci en una islita del Caribe (Puerto Rico). Creci viendo a mi madre crear cosas hermosas para mis hermanas y para mi. De temprana edad empezo a enseñarme a tejer en crochet. Mis dos abuelas eran costureras y creci entre telas e inventitos que nos hacian felices.
Hoy soy artesana certificada y trato de mantener esas tradiciones familiares de la costura, bordado, tejido y calado.
Soy madre de dos niños que me motivan siempre a seguir creando, soñando y jugando como lo hacia con mi madre y mis abuelas cuando tenia la misma edad.

Creating, dreaming and playing
My name is Alejandra, I was born in a Caribbean island (Puerto Rico) where I always seen my mom creating beautiful things for my sisters and me. She teached me crochet when I was 8 years old. I remember my grandmother sewing beautiful dresses for us.
Now, I try to keep the family traditions and everything I've learned from them.
I am mom of two children, and I keep creating, dreaming and playing with them, as I did with my mother and grandmothers when I had their ages.
